THANKS, ALLEN MOORHEAD

Allen & wife Lil Moorhead along with Johnny & Jean Meiss started Wheels for Jesus in 1983 in Humble, Texas.  Allen became President in 1985 when Johnny(1st President and Jean moved to Reno, Nevada.

Allen & Lil moved Wheels for Jesus to their home in Baytown, Texas and started ministering to Bikers and anyone who would listen. In 1986 Allen was asked to gather & deliver Christmas presents to inmate's children for Prison Fellowship for what was the first Project Angel Tree in Texas.

They along with eight members delivered over 2000 Christmas Presents to Children of Texas inmates.  In December of that year they were asked to help in a Bible Study at the Darrington Prison Unit in Rosharon, Texas.  In May of 1987 They were asked to take over the Bible Study.

Allen and Lil along with about 30 volunteers continued the weekly Bible study for 7 years then moved the Bible study to RamseyII Prison Unit in Rosharon for 2 more years, then to the Hightower Prison Unit in Dayton, Texas for another year.

In 1989 Allen resigned from his job as Shift Supervisor at J.M.Huber Carbon Black Plant in Baytown after 21 years to serve the Lord full time.  That was when Allen & Lil started Eagle Ministries.  They continued the Bible Studies, training volunteers for prison ministry, ministering in county jails, to Bikers as well as in Hospitals, Nursing Homes and out into the Highways and Hedges.

In 1991 they incorporated EAGLE MINISTRIES, Inc. as a 501.C.3 Non-Profit Organization.  They now have monthly meetings in their home, monthly meetings at a local motorcycle shop and they continue to hold services in prisons and jails all over Texas.

They continue to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost, hurting and dying world.  Please Keep Them in Your Prayers.
